Employer Advisory Board

Logistics Skills Network is offering the opportunity for large employers with extensive learning and development requirements to become more involved in driving forward skills solutions for our industry as members of our Employer Advisory Board. Recognising that logistics employers undertake some of the following education activities and require representation with government, awarding organisations and other regulatory authorities to influence policy, we will develop initiatives around these themes.

Forklift training

  • Apprenticeships
  • LGV licence acquisition
  • Driver CPC and International Road Haulage CPC
  • Forklift Truck / MHE
  • ADR and Dangerous Goods Awareness
  • Driver assessments and inductions
  • Health & Safety
  • Bespoke in-house company specific training

Employer Advisory Board Participation

As a corporate member, you would be invited to join an Employer Advisory Board to steer Logistics Skills Network in discussions with the government and other stakeholders to influence policy for the benefit of the sector and your organisation.

By effectively creating a Sector Skills Council, it would also provide the opportunity to share best practices and form a dialogue with other like-minded logistics operators seeking similar outcomes. This will prove to be an invaluable network providing information and pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Logistics Skills Network have set an employer advisory board to support organisations and their respective sectors.
