03 Sep DVSA increases vocational testing

NEWS JUST IN FROM THE DVSA

This morning, the DVSA has announced new measures to increase the number of vocational tests to help meet the exceptionally high demand following the pandemic.

Firstly, from Monday 7 September, driving examiners will be able to carry out 4 tests instead of the usual 3.

In addition, a process to extend the booking window from 6 weeks to 10 weeks will also commence on Monday 7th, from when the DVSA intends to add another week each Monday and Wednesday until we get back to 10 weeks.

Guidance will soon be made available regarding Covid-19 safety measures and we will share information with our members as it comes in.
